Ore City High School alum Travis Orms serves as Principal of OCHS. A member of the OCHS Class of 2004, Mr. Orms earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Leadership Development from Texas A&M in 2011, and has a teaching certificate in Agriculture Science. Mr. Orms earned his Master of Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2019. 

He and his wife, Carrie, married in 2012 and have two daughters: Paisley, born in 2013, and Presley, born in 2016, both of whom currently attend Ore City Elementary. Mr. Orms' stepson, Cooper, is serving in the U.S. Navy.

In his spare time away from school, Mr. Orms enjoys hunting and woodworking.
