Amy McFatridge, Assistant Principal of Ore City High School, is a graduate of Blackwell High School in Blackwell, Texas.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Education with specializations in English and Psychology from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, and her graduate degree in Secondary Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M Commerce.  Mrs. McFatridge taught English/Language Arts for 27 years before transferring to school administration.  Her favorite part of being an educator is helping people grow to their potential and the first day of school.

Mrs. McFatridge is married to her husband, Aaron.  Her sons Mathew and David are pursuing their education at Texas Tech and Texas A&M, respectively.

In her free time, Mrs. Mc enjoys cooking, reading, writing, and time with her loved ones.
