JOINT COUNSELING POSITION:  ORE CITY HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL
Ore City High School and Middle School are seeking a joint counseling position with a primary focus on academic guidance counseling.  This position will oversee the following responsibilities for our 6th through 12th grade students:
     *  Academic advising
     *  Student scheduling
     *  Focus on College, Career, and Military readiness for OCHS and OCMS students
        *  Scholarship opportunities, College/Career Fairs, ACT/SAT, PSAT, ASVAB, TSI, FAFSA

HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS OPENINGS  
Seeking certified Agri-Science Teacher for 2020-2021 school year:
     12-month contract;
     Teaching Needs:  Principles of Ag., Ag. Mechanics, Wildlife, Horticulture and
     Plants and Soil Science.  Some Flexibility within teaching assignment;
     FFA:  Knowledge and ability to train LDE and CDE teams, supervise SAEP,s, and 
     maintain Student Discipline;
     3 or more years of experience preferred;
     2 teacher department

Seeking qualified applicants with a Science composite certification for the 20-21
school year.  Applicants should possess foundational knowledge of content standards
and pedagogical practices.  Negotiable teaching assignments that may include Chemistry, 
Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, IPC, Earth and Space Science.
Qualifications:  SBEC High School Science Composite certification or equivalent

    Qualifications;
       Master's degree in guidance counseling; valid Texas counseling certificate
    Special Knowledge/Skills:
        Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development;
        Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
        Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior;
        Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to students, parents, and district staff
     Experience
        Two (2) years of teaching experience required, prior school counselor experience preferred.
