Elementary Structured Learning/Life Skills Teacher
Experience and special education certification are preferred, but love for students and helping them succeed is required!

Our G/T program serves students in K-1st for a half day each week and 2nd-5th for a full day.  This person will provide enriching and challenging activities that meet the needs of gifted and talented students.

Elementary Resource ELA Teacher
This teacher will serve students in grades 2-5 in resource ELA.  

Pre-K - 2nd Grade SPED Early Interventionist
The purpose of this position is to support the campus through reading and math intervention in the early grades and to assist the SPED teachers with writing goals for IEPs and in communication between Gen Ed and SPED teachers for progress reporting purposes.

Three-year-old Head Start Teacher

Paraprofessional - Kindergarten Aide
This person is responsible for helping the kindergarten teachers prepare materials for lessons, transport students between classes, and assist with duties on campus. 


Instructional Aide for 3-year-old Head Start Class

Fourth Grade Math Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fourth Grade Math Teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, and other forms of evaluation.
  • Provide individualized support and instruction to students who may be struggling with math concepts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate lesson plans and share best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic concerns.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in mathematics education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching certification/license or acceptance into an alternative certification program.
  • Strong knowledge of fourth-grade mathematics concepts and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Prior teaching experience at the elementary level is preferred.

Ore City ISD is taking applications for School Nurse

Education/Certification

1. Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.

2. Valid registered nurse licensed to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners

3. Certified by the Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening.

4. CPR Certification

Job Description

1. Provide direct care utilizing professional assessment skills, the nursing process, and established school health protocols.

2. Serve as a health advocate for students.

3. Notify parents of accident or illness and secure medical care for students in emergency cases (if parents or emergency contact cannot be reached).

4. Coordinate management system to administer medications to students at school and according to district policy and procedures.

5. Establish and implement effective procedures for mandatory screening programs.  Make referrals as necessary.

6. Develop and coordinate a continuing evaluation of campus health programs and make changes based on findings.

7. Participate in the development of campus health education curriculum and provide health education to individuals and groups.
