OCHS STUCO Recognized as Sweepstakes Award winning Council
The Ore City High School Student Council has been awarded with the highest honor from the Texas Association of Student Councils. OCHS Student Council has been named one of the Sweepstakes Councils of the 2022-23 school year. Only 233 high schools in Texas have this honor. The council excelled in specific project areas of Pride and Patriotism, Energy and Environment, Health and Safety, and community service projects. Achieving this award takes much dedication, purpose, planning, and hard work.
