ORE CITY -- Kyle Adams, who served as Offensive Coordinator at White Oak High School this past football season, has been named the new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Ore City ISD.

The hire became official Friday during a special-called meeting of the Ore City ISD Board of Trustees.

Adams spent one season at White Oak after serving as Offensive Coordinator and Head Track Coach at Hallsville in 2021. He has also held coaching positions at Manor ISD and Union Grove ISD. Adams earned a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Louisiana Tech in 2008 and added a Master of Education degree from Concordia University in Austin in 2020.

Adams takes over the Rebels program from Ron Burnham, who left Ore City earlier this year to accept a position as Athletic Director at Nevada Community.

The Rebels finished 2-8 this past season while competing in District 10-2A.
