Superintendent
MESSAGE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT
I am so proud to be a part of Ore City ISD. OCISD is a special place with great students and staff where Rebels Excel Beyond Expected Levels!
As an educator and leader it is my desire to be a lifelong learner. I believe that continual growing is crucial for success. Every project that I take on, whether successful or not, is a learning experience. I believe that I am a better educator and leader because I am never satisfied but strive for ways to be better every day.
Being better every day means that I am continually working on the relationships in my life, personal and professional. Building relationships is part of being a servant leader. I want to empower others to grow and learn to become the best person they can be while encouraging them in an honest and supportive manner.
I believe that every student matters, every day. It is my goal at OCISD to always put students first.
As for my personal life: I have been married to my husband, Kevin Evers for seventeen years and together we have 4 children (a son and three daughters), 1 daughter-in-law, three sons-in-law and six of the most awesome grandchildren ever (Asher-12, Toven-11, and Remi Jo- 6, Luna-1, Rayleigh-1, and Felisa 1). Kevin and I attend Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview, TX. Prior to coming to OCISD, I was the Asst. Superintendent/Principal at Union Grove ISD.
If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or 903-968-3300.
I am looking forward to a great spring semester!
